A 1,400-person engineering org wanted a flagship internal hackathon for their NCR engineers. The asks were the asks: 120 attendees, 30 teams of 4, 48 continuous hours, fibre internet, power backup, AV for opening + closing keynotes. Plus three meals a day and decent coffee.

The brief, decoded

  • Most event venues aren't built for 48-hour continuous use.
  • Wi-Fi requirement: 200 Mbps symmetric, no public-Wi-Fi captive portal.
  • Power backup mandatory — Delhi summer.
  • Catering for 360 meal-services across 48 hours.

How Storybuk ran it

01

Studio venue, not a banquet hall

Storybuk surfaced a 6,000 sqft workshop/studio space in NCR originally built for fashion shoots. Pre-wired with fibre, generator backup, freight elevator.

02

Catering inside the spend

Three-meal package negotiated with the in-house F&B partner. Breakfast burritos, lunch thalis, dinner pizza, all-night chai. ₹450 per head per day.

03

AV partner included

Stage, projector, mics, hybrid stream to the wider org for the closing demos. ₹35,000 flat.

The internet didn't drop. The power didn't drop. The pizza came on time. For a hackathon, that's a 10/10 venue.
