Is there really no cost to book through Storybuk?
Correct — organisers pay nothing to Storybuk. The price you see is the venue's all-in per-head rate with GST included. We earn a flat 5% from the venue on confirmed bookings, not from you.
How does the escrow work?
On confirmation you pay 50% into an escrow account — held by our payments partner, not the venue. The balance is due before the event, and the full amount releases to the venue two working days after your event takes place.
What does "all-in" actually include?
The per-head rate covers the hall, standard service and GST. Add-ons like AV, décor or extended bar are shown as separate itemised lines before you confirm — never as a surprise at the end.
What's your cancellation policy?
Cancel 14 or more days before the event for a full refund from escrow. Within 14 days, the venue's own cancellation terms apply — and we always show those terms to you before you confirm and pay.
Do I get a GST invoice for accounts?
Yes. A GST-compliant invoice is generated for every booking and emailed to you, with your company's GSTIN on it for input-tax credit. You can download all your invoices from your dashboard.
